CAC Index Marked Loss at Close of Trade Today

France stocks were lower after the close as losses into the Foods & Drugs, Gas & Water and General Financial sectors led shares reduced Friday.

The CAC 40 declined 1.22%, although the SBF 120 index fell 1.21% at the close in Paris.

The most effective performers of the session on the CAC 40 were SA that is worldline:WLN), which rose 1.70% or 1.30 points to trade at 77.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Dassault Systemes SE (PA:DAST) added 1.11% or 1.75 points to end at 159.95 and ArcelorMittal SA (AS:MT) was up 0.66% or 0.08 points to 11.53 in late trade.

The worst performers associated with session were WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (like:URW), which dropped 10.53% or 3.79 points to trade at 32.20 at the close. Peugeot SA (PA:PEUP) declined 4.35% or 0.70 points to get rid of at 15.49 and Publicis Groupe SA (PA:PUBP) was down 4.29% or 1.25 points to 27.92.

The top performers on the SBF 120 were Euronext (PA:ENX) which rose 4.28% to 102.30, Albioma SA (PA:ABIO) which ended up being up 4.00% to settle at 45.55 and SA that is soitec) which gained 3.81% to shut at 130.80.

The worst performers were Lagardere SCA (PA:LAGA) which was down 12.48% to 15.22 in late trade, Mercialys SA (PA:MERY) which lost 10.69% to settle at 4.84 and WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS:URW) which was down 10.53% to 32.20 at the close.

Dropping stocks outnumbered ones being advancing the Paris Stock Exchange by 371 to 198 and 81 ended unchanged.

Shares in Soitec SA (PA:SOIT) rose to highs that are 5-year rising 3.81percent or 4.80 to 130.80. Shares in WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS:URW) fell to lows that are 5-year down 10.53% or 3.79 to 32.20.

The CAC 40 VIX, which measures the volatility that is implied of 40 options, was down 1.10% to 22.36.

Gold Futures for delivery was up 0.86% or 16.75 to $1966.65 a troy ounce December. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.10percent or 0.04 to hit $41.01 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.53% or 0.23 to trade at $43.07 a barrel. France stocks were lower after the close as losses mounted.

EUR/USD was up 0.16% to 1.1865, while EUR/GBP rose 0.35% to 0.9162.

The US Dollar Index Futures had been down 0.16% at 92.820.
