Compass UOL, a worldwide digital transformation organization, has announced the creation of a scholarship program focused on preparing professionals for the metaverse via an innovation studio focusing on gaming and augmented reality.
The company will offer 1,000 metaverse-related scholarships as part of its broader Compass Academy initiative, which will offer a total of 3,000 scholarships at several Brazilian institutions to prepare students for about three months in key metaverse disciplines like augmented reality, virtual reality, NFT, blockchain, DeFi, design, animations, gaming, real-time 3D, and other related disciplines through one of Compass UOL’s 18 innovation studies.
This will be accomplished through hands-on projects and out-of-class workshops that will train and teach students about real-world, market-specific challenges using primarily partner platforms, such as Unity and Unreal Engine, in the areas of augmented reality, virtual reality, 3D modeling and animation, agile methodologies, and existing metaverse platforms, allowing students to understand the real-world projects Compass UOL is working on with clients while also developing their own pr.
