German Share Market Down At Close of Trade


Germany stocks had been lower following the close as losings into the Retail, Financial solutions and Media sectors led shares lower Wednesday.

The worst performers were S&T AG (DE:SANT1) which was down 5.70% to 21.16 in late trade, LPKF Laser & Electronics (DE:LPKG) which lost 4.71% to settle at 24.300 and New Work SE (DE:NWOn) that was down 4.28% to 223.50 at the close.

Dropping stocks outnumbered people that are advancing the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 364 to 310 and 74 finished unchanged.

Shares in Heidelbergcement AG O.N. (DE:HEIG) rose to highs being 52-week up 2.05% or 1.500 to 74.560.

The DAX volatility index, which steps the volatility that is suggested of choices, ended up being up 1.26% to 19.35.
