Huobi aims at seazing metaverse opportunities

Huobi Technology Holdings Limited today announced the launch of Huobi Tech Capital, its strategic investment and M&A unit. The latter will look into sectors like Web3, DeFi, and the Metaverse to see whether there are any investment potential in the blockchain industry.

Huobi Tech Capital will concentrate on early-stage investments that capitalize on industry trends, as well as strategic acquisitions that will help Huobi Tech’s blockchain ecosystem grow. It will use a variety of investing options, including traditional equity investments and crypto token investments.

The company Huobi Tech Capital has made significant headway with its investments in GameFi and has just completed a project to develop a digital asset service platform for family offices. Blockchain is not only a cost-cutting technology, but also a social tool for establishing relationships and trust. The company Huobi Tech is also seeking for virtual asset and finance-related licenses in major markets around the world at the same time. Huobi Tech’s subsidiaries have successfully obtained approval from the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong to conduct Type 4 (Advising on Securities) and Type 9 (Asset Management) regulated activities, and are registered as a Trust Company in Hong Kong with the Trust or Company Service Provider License (Hong Kong) and the Retail Trust Company License (Nevada USA).
