MG Motor became the first manufacturer in the country to present its concept of MGverse, a Metaverse platform that will provide its consumers and stakeholders with an immersive experience across numerous venues.
MG Motor India’s chief commercial officer, Gaurav Gupta, described MGverse as a cosmos that integrates several virtual places onto a single platform. This will allow MG fans, customers, partners, and workers to work, play, engage, collaborate, co-create, socialize, and shop together.
“MGverse is an advancement that allows users to interact with data visualizations much as they would in the real world. At every touchpoint, MG strives to provide customers with immersive experiences. MGverse is our vision for constructing our Metaverse, in which we and our partners will continuously explore, invent, adapt, and develop new solutions to better the customer experience in the future, as stated by Gupta.
The brand will give five distinct experience areas for clients to express their individuality in the MGverse. While the Explore & Creator’s Center will allow users to customize, accessorize, and build their favorite MG vehicle in the Metaverse, take a virtual test drive in the cities and streets of their choice, and make bookings, the NFT Gallery will showcase MG’s collections and allow users to collaborate & co-create, list, and trade NFTs on the platform.
With MG Car Club, members will have additional opportunities to interact, engage, and celebrate community through exclusive events and concerts
Members will also be able to purchase MG items through MGverse. The user will get the opportunity to experience MG’s racing heritage at Gaming Arena. One might choose their preferred racetrack to compete in a sportier MG or engage in other activities. MG Knowledge Centre will provide employees and partners with chances for skill development and attendance at virtual training sessions, conferences, seminars, etc.
To engage GenZ and GenAlpha, the platform will be accessible on smartphones as well as other online browsers. MG plans to offer similar experiences for VR (Virtual Reality) headsets, enabling for a more immersive and realistic experience at home and at dealerships. The platform will be launched in phases, with the initial phase commencing over the upcoming holiday season.
